Visakhapatnam: Dr U Sreedhar, Principal Scientist on Thursday took over as the Scientist-in-Charge of the Visakhapatnam
Research Centre of ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT).
He has nearly 25 years of research experience in harvest fisheries and nearly 30 years of government service.
He is a PhD holder in marine sciences from Acharya Nagarjuna University and post-graduation in marine sciences from Bombay University. He worked in the Mumbai base of Fisheries Survey of India, Mumbai, ICAR-CIFT research stations at Veraval, Gujarat and Visakhapatnam.
